President Trump To China Due To COVID-19: “We could cut off the whole relationship”

United States President Trump warns to cut ties with China due to this.

PRESIDENT TRUMP – With the drastic increase of coronavirus-related figures, US President Trump threatens to cut off relationship with China.

The lockdowns declared in various parts of the world due to fear of spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 started easing down now. And this also started the fear of resurgence or also called by many as the 2nd wave of the disease.

After accusing China of concealing the true scale of the outbreak, United States President Donald Trump threatened that he could cut off whole relationship with China due to its handling the highly dangerous pandemic. The disease caused by a new strain of coronavirus has already killed over 300,000 people worldwide.

According to a report from The Guardian, he is disappointed with China for they were not able to contain the virus and at the moment, he has yet no interest in talking to President Xi Jinping. He said, “There are many things we could do … We could cut off the whole relationship. Now, if you did, what would happen? You’d save $500bn.”

The US and China are the world’s two largest economies. And due to pandemic, more than 10% of the US population were unemployed.

In previous article, as of May 14 update from the Department of Health (DOH), the coronavirus figures in the Philippines has already reached 11,876 in terms of confirmed cases, 790 deaths, and 2,337 recoveries. Also, Cebu and Quezon City are the areas in the countries which has the highest record of coronavirus patients.
