PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day March 24, 2021 (Wednesday).

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Tail-end of Frontal System will affect the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon; the northeast monsoon or amihan will affect eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern; and the easterlies will be affecting the rest of the country on this day.

Based on the bureau’s official website, the Tail-end of Frontal System and/or Easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Caraga and Davao Region, Bicol Region, Eastern and Central Visayas.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to at times heavy rains.

The Northeast Monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora and Quezon and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon.

The Easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed and coastal water forecast, Luzon and eastern section of Visayas will bring moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction, while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will bring light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction, while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
