Joseph Marco shared experience in working with Maricel Soriano
Actor Joseph Marco revealed how it was working with the one and only Diamond Star Maricel Soriano on the set of Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin.
Joseph is one of the cast members of the said Kapamilya drama series with Jodi Sta. Maria, Iza Calzado, and Sam Milby. With this project, he was able to get the chance with Maricel, fondly called as Marya in the entertainment industry.
It is known to many artists in the Philippines that Maricel would give caliber acting to whatever role being given to her. Because of this, it is inevitable that some will feel intimidated, especially the newbies in showbiz.
However, based on the article The Philippine Star, Joseph Marco revealed that he did not feel intimidated by the Diamond Star.
“Hindi n’ya ipapa-feel sa ‘yo na matakot ka o masindak ka. In fact, she would make you feel comfortable because she’s that kind of person. She’s so nice and she is just like the motherly type,” the actor shared.
Maricel Soriano also commented on the remark that she does not want make her co-stars intimidated. She said that she grew up in the industry working with Comedy King Dolphy and that experience taught her an important lesson.
“Lahat ay nadadaan sa usapan. It’s not right to get mad just because of minor issues kasi lahat tayo may pinagdadaanan kung minsan at dapat intindihin natin kung may mga pagkakamali man,” the veteran actress shared.
When asked if she is giving acting tips or advice to her co-stars, Maricel said that she would just do this when they ask. “Kasi s’yempre baka may sarili silang idea how to attack a particular scene. Hindi ko sila pinapangunahan,” the Diamond Star explained.
