Here’s what Maja Salvador said on rumors circulating about her.
MAJA SALVADOR – Former Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador speaks about encouraging other artists to leave the ABS-CBN network.
Among the highly-criticized transfer leaving the ABS-CBN network amid the height of its shutdown is Maja Salvador. She explained in a previous article that she will be transferring with Johnny Manahan, or also known as the industry’s starmaker Mr. M, who accordingly ask her to go with him. She eventually became a part of Sunday Noontime Live on TV5 as one of the main hosts, however, the show did not last long and ended soon.
She remained as a Kapatid and actually has a new series where she will be playing a role far from the fierce and iconic ones she did with her previous network. Her new project which will air soon is entitled Niño Niña and she will be with Noel Comia Jr., 2017 Cinemalaya Film Festival’s Best Actor, and Empoy Marquez, although he wasn’t included in the teaser.
And in a recent interview she had, she spoke about the rumors about her. As per the grapevine, she was accordingly encouraging other artists to leave ABS-CBN and transfer to TV5. She refuted such a rumor saying, “Nakakatawa lang. So, ang sagot ko, no. Hindi po. Hindi talaga. Hindi talaga.”
She just chose to laugh at it. Even before making up her decision, she already thought of the consequences of her move and prepared herself for it. The singer and dancer said, “Hinanda ko yung sarili ko kaya kahit anong mabasa ko, okay lang. Okay lang talaga.”
Previously, she was also rumored to be the one who encouraged Kim Chiu to transfer. However, the Chinita Princess, right from the start, expressed her loyalty to the network who made her the actress that she is now. This is accordingly her way to show her love and gratitude to the network that gave her the best opportunities.
