Here are some revelations from Claudine Barretto when she found out about Raymart Santiago and Jodi Sta. Maria.
CLAUDINE BARRETTO – Optimum Star Claudine Barretto shares what she told Raymart Santiago and Jodi Sta. Maria when she found out about their blossoming romance before.
What Claudine Barretto has revealed before are her controversial rants over the effects of Jodi Sta. Maria to her estranged husband Raymart Santiago. The celebrity couple Jodi and Raymart came out to be officially in a relationship last September 2020 after their sweet photos apparently emerged online.
The Optimum Star complained about Jodi and Raymart disrespecting her and her children unlike his ex-girlfriend Ayala Executive AC Legarda. She even quipped during an interview, “Hindi magandang influence si Jodi sa kaniya (Raymart).”
She then recalled the moment when she found out that Raymart was pursuing Jodi. She shared, “Nung nalaman ko si Jodi yung nililigawan niya, si Raymart mismo, nag-usap kami. Nagtutuksuhan kami, ‘Mag-boyfriend ka na. Mag-girlfriend ka na,’ ganun.”
At that moment, they are still on speaking terms and it hurt her that Jodi didn’t reach out to her about what was going on then between her and Raymart. She took it to her heart when Jodi didn’t inform her about it considering how close they were.
Accordingly, they are really close to the point that she was the one who begged to her director before to include Jodi in one of her teleseryes. They were also able to go out of the country and recalled the big party she did to surprise her. And this, happening to them now, breaks her heart.
And when she knew about their blossoming romance, she was actually the one who talked to Jodi first to explain why she needs to know ahead of the public if they are officially together. This is accordingly for Sabina and Santino.
But it didn’t happen. They never gave her a heads up about their real score just so she could clarify it to her children. She shared, “Yung lumabas yung mga pictures talaga. Sobrang sakit para kay Sabina, lalo yun. Talagang nag-iiyak siya. At yun ang hiningi ko sa kanila, na kapag sila na, although hindi naman nila responsibilidad na sabihin sa akin. Pero responsibilidad ko yung mga anak ko.”
What’s hurting her more is when Jodi was able to talk about it to her son Thirdy while her children were left “kawawa”.
