Claudine Barretto is set to do a new movie
Optimum Star Claudine Barretto revealed that her older sister Marjorie Barretto is her inspiration for her role in her new movie with “sabunutan” scene.
It is known to many that the Barretto siblings became the topic of controversies in show business. Their feud always made it to the headlines in entertainment news.
Claudine and Gretchen Barretto have ended their feud and rekindled their relationship. However, this did not happen with Marjorie. Apparently, the children of Marj also entangled with the issues between the Barretto sisters.
In a recent article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Claudine Barretto said that Marjorie Barretto will be her inspiration for her role in her upcoming movie.
Just recently, the Optimum Star signed a contract with Borracho Films of Atty. Ferdie Topacio with her new manager Arnold Vegafria.
The script is not yet finished but Claudine already expressed that she likes the story. In the story, her character takes care of a sibling who is a special child.
“Gusto ko talaga ang movie na ‘to. Kasi it’s about quarantine… ‘yung mga magkapatid… the love and hate of magkakapatid,” the actress said.
Then, she revealed that her older sister will be her inspiration in doing her role. “Tapos special pa ‘yung bata na hindi nalalayo sa tunay kong kapatid na si Marjorie ‘di ba? May paghuhugutan ako dito….sinasabunut-sabunutan ako eh. Ayun!” Claudine said.
Meanwhile, Claudine Barretto also expressed fiery words to Jodi Sta. Maria, the girlfriend of her ex-husband Raymart Santiago.
The Optimum Star said that she did not receive the respect that she deserves from Jodi.
