PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (February 6)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Amihan and the Tail-end of the Frontal System would bring rains over some parts of the Philippines.

On Saturday (February 6, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The Northeast Monsoon and Frontal System’s tail-end would continue to affect the country’s weather system.

PAGASA reported that the Tail-end of the Frontal System would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms over Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Aurora, and Quezon.

The northeast monsoon or locally known as Amihan is expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency has also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the eastern section of Luzon will be moderate to rough. Slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions are also expected over the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, according to the weather bureau.
