PAGASA – Latest Weather Updates This February 5, 2021

PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day February 5, 2021 (Friday).

The 4 AM update from the state weather bureau says that Tail-end of Frontal System will be affecting the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas, while the Northeast Monsoon will affect the rest of Luzon.

The bureau said in their forecast that Bicol Region, Quezon, Marinduque, Romblon, Mindoro provinces and Samar provinces will face cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms due to the tail-end of frontal system.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate with at times heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora; and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The rest of the country may face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The bureau’s wind and coastal water condition forecast says that Luzon and Visayas will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction, while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

Mindanao will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast direction, while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
