Man Behind Viral Leni Robredo-Rachel Alejandro Post Breaks Silence

LENI ROBREDO – The man behind the viral Leni-Robredo-Rachel Alejandro post broke his silence.

On Saturday night, a netizen named Mark Raven Dominguez posted a photo of the singer-actress Rachel Alejandro on his Facebook Page. It came with a caption, “Nasaan ang bise president? Busy naman pala sa Palawan. Ughhhh.”

Mark’s post eventually reached Vice President Leni Robredo and said he didn’t expect that to happen. It was clear on his post that it was Rachel’s photos since it was a screenshot of the singer’s IG post.

However, lots of people didn’t get Mark Raven Dominguez’ joke. On Monday afternoon, Leni Robredo shared his post, explaining it wasn’t her on the photo.

The politician said several people sent her the original post. She just laughed off the incident and apologized to the singer for being dragged into the fuss.

“Was initially confused why a number of people are sending me this. Kalma lang po. Hindi ako yan. Andito po ako sa opisina, wala sa Palawan.” she wrote

Mark Raven Dominguez told ABS-CBN News that he didn’t expect it to go viral on all social media sites since he merely posted it as a joke. He said he did not mean to offend anyone.

“I just want to say that’s a pure sarcasm joke. I just want to chill from our toxic political insights. I know that’s Miss Rachel Alejandro first-hand because that was clearly her Instagram feed…”

“Sorry if I offended them (if that so),” he added.

According to him, lots of netizens accused him of being against VP Leni Robredo, but he clarified that his viral post is not political. “And I just want to make clear things that I am not a DDS or Dilawan or such. I don’t have any political colors, I know what is just and right,” he said.
