PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day January 28, 2021 (Thursday).

The 4 AM update from the state weather bureau says that the Northeast Monsoon or amihan continues to affect Luzon on this day.

According to the bureau’s website, the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms over Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga and Davao Region. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate with at times heavy rains

The northeast monsoon, meanwhile, will bring cloudy skies with rains over Bicol Region and MIMAROPA. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate with at times heavy rains.

Amihan will also bring cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands; and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The rest of Mindanao will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the 4AM update, for the wind and coastal water condition forecast, Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon will have moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
