Vice Ganda Intriguing Reaction To Not Be Choosy Over Covid-19 Vaccine

Kapamilya star Vice Ganda slams announcement about public to be choosy over Covid-19 Vaccine they want.

VICE GANDA – Famous Kapamilya personality Vice Ganda has this intriguing comment after the palace told the public to not be choosy over Covid-19 Vaccine.

The solution for the current COVID-19 pandemic is a vaccine to protect the people from being infected. Several companies have already conducted trial over the effectiveness of the vaccine and in a previous post, amid the controversy of China’s Sinovac vaccine, the government has acquired 25 million doses already.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque also told the public to not be picky and choosy over choice of vaccine. He said, “Totoo po, meron tayong lahat na karapatan para sa mabuting kalusugan pero hindi naman po pwede na pihikan dahil napakaraming Pilipino na dapat turukan.”

Several personalities in the country reacted to this including Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri who expressed that people cannot choose the vaccine they trust is unfair. He said that the people must be given options between which vaccinations should they want to have.

Also, Vice Ganda, ABS-CBN’s superstar, took social media and also expressed the same sentiments. He wrote in his post, “Sa sabong panlaba nga choosy tayo e sa bakuna pa kaya. Ano to basta may maisaksak lang?! Vaklang twoooaahhh!!!”

Rep. Ferdinand Gaite of the Bayan Muna party-list group echoed the same thoughts as well – the freedom of the Filipino to choose the vaccine they want to receive. If it is accordingly involving public’s money, then they should be responsible in choosing the vaccine that is safe and effective.

The Sinovac vaccine has an efficacy rate of 50 percent which is way lower compared to others that has an efficacy rating of around 90 percent.
