Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Has Harry Roque as One Of the Judges
HARRY ROQUE – Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque has been named a judge for Miss Universe Philippines Grand Finals.
45 women are competing to take home the Miss Universe PH 2020 crown. However, only one winner will be named during the coronation on October 25, 9 a.m.
All pre-pageants events including the national costume, evening gown, swimsuit, preliminary interview, and the grand finale are all filmed at the Baguio Country Club in Baguio City.
Politicians are also making an appearance in Miss Universe Philippines 2020 coronation event, not as guests but as finale judges. Congressman Eric Yap, Baguio First Lady Mrs. Arlene Magalong and Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque get to play the crucial role.
They will help determine the country’s representative who will be sent off to the Miss Universe stage. Miss Universe 2013 3rd runner-up Ariella Arida and Miss Universe 2012 1st runner-up Janine Tugonon are also part of the judges.
Others included are Samuel Salonga Versoza, Arthur Peña Venus Navalta, Jackie C. Aquino, and Raymond Delos Santos. In a Tweet Friday night, Harry Roque said he never thought judging for a beauty pageant would be “this difficult.”
“Never thought judging Ms Universe Philippines would be this difficult! The Filipina, simply but is the best!” he wrote.
Reigning Miss Universe Philippines Gazini Ganados will crown her successor. She’s the last candidate crowned by Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc’s Bb. Pilipinas pageant before the franchise was transferred to the new organization.
The pageant is now under the franchise of former beauty queen Shamcey Supsup and her team.
