Authorities Shutdown Makeshift Laboratory of Illegal Drugs in Cainta
MAKESHIFT LABORATORY- Authorities raided and shut down the improvised laboratory in Cainta, Rizal where illegal drugs are produced.
A makeshift laboratory of illegal drugs was attacked and closed by Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) personnel in Cainta, Rizal Thursday noon.
According to authorities, a “Jose” from Brgy. San Andres, Cainta booked a door-to-door delivery service to send a package to a hotel in Manila. The delivery rider checked the bag containing the package.
Various biscuits and bread were found on top but when he allegedly checked the other items below, Jose did not agree and he was forced to leave. The rider was very skeptical so when he saw the police he asked for help and they discovered that what’s in the bag was suspected shabu.
The PNP Drug Enforcement Group and PDEA went to Jose’s house. Upon entering the house, it was found the makeshift kitchen laboratory, several chemical bottles, pills, and suspected shabu.
A woman was caught in the house while her partner Joseph escaped. The PDEA inventory further determines the value of all confiscated items and illegal drugs.
