SK Chairman in Bulacan Injured in Beatings and Shooting by a Group of Youths
Incumbent Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairman suffered from injuries after being and shooting by a group of youths in Bulacan.
An incumbent Sangguniang Kabataan chairman was injured when he was beaten and shot by a group of youths in the town of Bulacan province. The victim was identified as John Mico Yamzon, an SK Chairman, and a resident of Brgy. Tigpalas, in such town.
Based on the report sent by P / Col. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan police director, to P / BGen. Valeriano De Leon, PRO3 director, while the victim was driving his motorcycle on the national highway in Brgy. Salacot and had an argument with the suspects identified as Karl Wyn Cruz, Jefferson Juatco, Almarvin Ruben, and Kier Wilmer Juatco.

The group allegedly blamed the failure of the Mitsubishi L300 they were riding on the motorcycle driven by the victim. Arriving at a gas station, the suspects got off and confronted Yamzon until there was a fight while one of them pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
After the shooting in which the SK chairman was hit in the left arm, the suspects fled while the victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Following a follow-up operation conducted by San Miguel Municipal Police Station (MPS) personnel, one of the suspects, Kier Wilmer Juatco, arrested.
Jefferson Juatco, Almarvin Ruben, and Karl wyn Cruz escaped from arrest and are currently at large. The suspects are now facing a case of Frustrated Murder to be filed in court.
