Is there some romance brewing between Pops Fernandez and Derek Ramsay?
POPS FERNANDEZ – Iconic OPM singer Pops Fernandez finally breaks her silence after alleged affair with Kapuso actor Derek Ramsay.
Over a year after relationship announcement, Derek Ramsay and Andrea Torres made another announcement and that is their split. It came as a surprise to a lot of people because it seems like they’re doing fine and have been vocal about their plans of settling down in two year’s time.
And after their apparent split, the actor immediately got linked to OPM singer Pops Fernandez. In a previous article, he slammed such malicious allegation from a netizens expressing, “lahat na lang bigyan ng issue”. The actor clarified then that his split with Torres is not because of a third party.
To recall, the allegations about Pops and Derek started when the former greeted the latter’s mother calling it “mommy”. Finally, the singer address this issue and said, “I just don’t wanna talk about it because I felt Derek and Andrea are not really talking about it. Ang weird naman na ako yung magsasalita, right? Anyway, hindi po siya totoo. How it started, hindi ko rin po alam.”
She admitted that her friends and even her are shocked about this issue circulating online but what she is sure of is that there’s no truth to any of it. What she’s just dismayed about is the fact how people would believe such easily.
The Concert Queen added that when she would see Derek, it was all the time for another purpose and not entirely about seeing him. Also, his mother is her good friend. She explained, “Maybe siguro kasi nagkikita kami ng mom ni Derek, but for another reason and for another purpose… but other than that, not at all.”
