Zoren Legaspi Says Daughter Cassy Legaspi Will “Surprise Us” In Her 1st TV Series
CASSY LEGASPI – Veteran actor Zoren Legaspi said his daughter Cassy Legaspi will “surprise us” in her first tv series.
Kapuso star Cassy Legaspi is Zoren Legaspi’s 19-year-old daughter with actress Carmina Villaroel. She has a twin brother named Mavy Legaspi.
She and her brother became talents for GMA-7 in 2018. The young celebrity had begun working for her first ever tv series for the Kapuso network.
In a virtual press conference of ‘Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit,’ Cassy Legaspi’s dad revealed that she had done well in her lock-in shoot. She’s part of the highly-anticipated GMA-7 series ‘First Yaya‘ top-billed by veteran actor Gabby Concepcion and actress Sanya Lopez, who replaced actress Marian Rivera.
“Bumalik na feedback sa amin regarding her performance. So far, she’s doing really well and sabi nila, people will be surprised doon sa performance ni Cassy na ginagawa niya. But naninibago naman siya ngayon. It’s her first day to act in the Unit Two kasi iba yung Unit Two sa Unit One.”
“Unit Two, parang bakbakan na talaga iyan. Bakbakan na mabilis iyan, so medyo naninibago siya. Iyon yung Viber niya sa akin… Sabi ko, ‘Welcome to Philippine production.’ Sabi ko, ‘Hindi lahat talaga maghihintay, so kailangan you have to be ready,’” said Zoren.

Zoren Legaspi revealed that his daughter would often message him whenever she has worries or questions about work and he always had a piece of advice to offer.
“Tinuruan ko siya ng mga daya on how to rest during tapings. Wala pang lunch break, dapat kumakain ka na. Para kapag lunch break, that’s the time you take a nap. Lalo na kapag marami kang mga eksena. Mga ganung daya,” he shared.
