PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Updates for Saturday (December 12)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the northeast monsoon and easterlies to affect the country’s weather condition.

On Saturday (December 12, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the weather condition. The weather disturbances would bring cloudy conditions and light rains over some parts of the country.

PAGASA reported that the northeast monsoon would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rains over extreme Northern Luzon particularly in Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

The easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon. Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency also warned the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms. The Amihan would have no significant impact in the country.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Extreme northern Luzon would be moderate to rough. Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands would have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.

The surrounding sea conditions over the rest of the country would be also slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
