PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day December 9, 2020 (Wednesday).

The 4AM weather update from the state bureau says that the northeast monsoon or amihan continues to affect extreme Northern Luzon while the easterlies will affect the eastern portion of the country on this day.

According to their video post on their Facebook page, Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands will face cloudy skies with drizzles due to the northeast monsoon or amihan.

The easterlies, on the other hand, will face rains and thunderstorms over Bicol Region. Central Luzon will face cloudy skies with slight chances of isolated rains over certain areas there.

Based on the post, here are the temperature ranges for the following areas:

  • Laoag: 24 to 30 degrees Celsius
  • Baguio: 16 to 22 degrees Celsius
  • Metro Manila: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Tuguegarao: 23 to 29 degrees Celsius
  • Tagaytay: 23 to 28 degrees Celsius
  • Legzpi: 25 to 30 degrees Celsius
  • Kalayaan Islands: 25 to 30 degrees Celsius
  • Puerto Princesa: 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
  • Iloilo: 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
  • Cebu: 24 to 31 degrees Celsius
  • Tacloban: 25 to 30 degrees Celsius
  • Zamboanga: 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Cagayan de Oro: 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Davao: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius

A gale warning was raised over Extreme Northern Luzon with waves reaching up to 2.8 to 4.5 meters.

The sun has risen at 6:10 AM and is expected to set at 5:27 PM.
