Food Delivery Company Helps Restaurants in Pampanga to Boost Sales Amid Health Crisis
A food delivery company start-up Lokal Plate helped around 30 restaurants in Pampanga to boost their sales amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Lokal Plate Corp chairman Ralph Rile said that the company asked the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to remove it from the list of investment scams, which helped resellers and food businesses in Angeles City to recover,
Lokal Plate founder Brian James So said that the coronavirus pandemic severely affects the food businesses especially during the lockdown. The firm offered to sell the products online and deliver it to the customers.
“We saw a lot of restaurants closing down, most especially here in Pampanga. Through our service, we wanted to empower them to bounce back, open again their restaurants, pivot their business model and sell their products online and deliver it to their customers safely and swiftly. In this way, we can bring back Pampanga’s luster again as the food capital of the Philippines,” So said.
The food firm helped several restaurants including Aling Lucing’s Sisig, Teresita Razon Halo-halo and Palabok, Prime Cut, Quisina, Razon’s by Green and San Matias Ihaw-ihaw.

The company is also delivering the frozen food products in Bulacan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Rizal, Laguna, Antipolo, Cavite and Metro Manila.
