WHO Researchers Would Like To Investigate on Wuhan Origin in Food Market
WHO RESEARCHERS – The experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) want to visit the food market in Wuhan, China for the COVID-19 investigation.
The COVID-19 pandemic is undeniably the biggest global challenge in year 2020. More than 200 countries and territories have recorded cases of the said coronavirus disease.
The first reported cases of COVID-19 were in China. Wuhan City in Hubei province was the first epicenter of the disease. As of this writing, China has recorded a total of 86,469 cases of the disease since the start.

The global COVID-19 cases now have topped 60,649,357 with 1,425,006 deaths and 41,880,063 recoveries. United States recorded the most cases of the disease.
As of this writing, U.S. has logged a total of 13,104,592 cases of COVID-19 including 267,924 deaths and 7,714,731 recoveries. U.S President Donald Trump has always been vocal of blaming China over the spread of the disease.
Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, WHO researchers want to visit the food market in Wuhan, China for the COVID-19 investigation. They wanted to trace up the first cases to probe how the virus has spread.
According to WHO expert in animal diseases Peter Ben Embarek, the WHO researchers want to re-interview the early cases of COVID-19. Based on the report, he stressed that “there’s nothing to indicate that it would be man-made”.
Ben also stressed the need to reconstruct how the virus has transferred and spread as there is not much knowledge on what happened before December 2019.
