PAGASA Reports 1 More Storm May Hit Philippines Before November Ends
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that one more storm may enter the country’s vicinity before the end of November 2020.
On Wednesday (November 18, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported that one more storm may hit the country before the month of November ends.
PAGASA weather forecaster Raymond Ordinario said that the agency is expecting one to three storms to hit the Philippines for November. He said that one more storm may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility within this month.
“Ang forecast for November is 1-3 (storms) pero dahil nasa kalagitnaan pa lang tayo ng buwan, maaaring pumasok ang isa pang bagyo,” Ordinario said.
Over the past few weeks, consecutives tropical cyclones such as tropical storm Pepito, Typhoon Quinta (Molave), Super Typhoon Rolly (Goni), severe tropical storm Siony (Atsani), tropical storm Tonyo and Typhoon Ulysses hit the country.

Typhoon Ulysses hits the country with heavy rains and violent winds, which causes severe flooding in several parts of Luzon particularly in Marikina, Isabela, and Cagayan. The flooding leave 73 people dead in Luzon.
