Through social media, many people still get the information and updates about the flood-stricken places in the country after Typhoon Ulysses battered Luzon. And amid the heartbreaking situation and misery of the victims, viral online as well is the photo of a man amid flood making his way through. His name is Aaron Concepcion and here’s the story behind his photos.

He is no stranger to television because he already had several stints in show business industry. He is 22 years old and has already joined “Bidaman” segment of It’s Showtime. He was also the one who replaced Ion Perez as “Kuya Escort” in the noontime show when the former suffered an injury.
Arron is the chairman of Sangguniang Kabataan in Concepcion, Tarlac. Aside from his appearance in the Kapamilya channel, he also joined Kapuso drama anthology Magpakailanman‘s “Kailan Naging Ama Ang Isang Babae: The Roxanne D’Salles Epic Story” episode.
Now, what is the story behind his viral photos? Accordingly, at that moment, he was struggling his way to help other people. They have a house in Parkplace Village where he stayed at the height of the typhoon. He shared that it was around 12 P.M. when he spotted some people with the floating object. He was just walking through the flood back and forth to deliver food to other people.
He narrated, “Ang sakit na kasi ng tuhod ko sa kalalakad. ‘Tapos, wala akong tsinelas, masakit sa paa. Nagkasugat na nga ako. Nakita ako ng isang kapitbahay nilang pedicab driver. Kukunan daw niya ako ng litrato para ilagay sa Facebook.”
And the reason why he has no shirt is that he felt uncomfortable wearing his shirt while in the middle of the deep waters. He said, “Babad kasi ako sa baha. Nakakasalubong ko, kung anu-anong basura. Andaming diaper saka tae. ng kati sa pakiramdam. Kaya noong nagkaroon ng chance, naligo na ako.”
What he’s just thankful about, as per PEP’s report, is that he never got leptospirosis.
