Famous Filipino Celebrities Expresses Worry As Typhoon Ulysses Lashes Their Homes
Some famous Filipino celebrities have expressed their fear due to the devastating effects of Typhoon Ulysses.
On Thursday (November 12, 2020), Typhoon Ulysses becomes one of the most trending topics on social media after devastating several areas in the country. The powerful typhoon brought heavy rainfall and violent winds.
Ulysses also causes a huge increase on the water level of Marikina River resulting to massive flooding in the city. Numerous residents have been stranded at the roof of their homes due to the flood.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, PAGASA, radio and television networks have warned the Bicol region, mga lalawigan ng Quezon, Rizal, Laguna, Batangas, Metro Manila at Central Luzon about the possible effects of Ulysses.
Several Filipino celebrities such as Pokwang, Vice Ganda, Lovi Poe, Gary Valenciano, and other stars were alarmed by the powerful cyclone.

Pokwang, a resident of Antipolo City failed to sleep fearing for her the safety of her family as Typhoon Ulysses lashes the area. Vice Ganda also expressed his fear and even asked the Lord almighty’s help for protection.
Lovi Poe woke up because of the storm, which sounds like a violent waves crashing into their home. Gary Valenciano has also posted emergency hotlines. The couple Chynna Ortaeza and Kean Cipriano have experienced power outage.
