Malicious rumors had circulated claiming that the actor-politician’s daughter was pregnant, with basketball player Ricci Rivero alleged to be the father.
This speculation arose after a newspaper published a “blind item” about the pregnant daughter of a sports-loving politician, whose rumored boyfriend, a basketball player, was said to be the father.
Netizens speculated that Juliana was the person referred to in the blind item and that Ricci was the basketball player in question. However, shortly after the blind item surfaced, Juliana reportedly posted a photo of herself working out at the gym.
With this, netizens thought that this was the celebrity fencer’s way of debunking the allegations against her and her rumored boyfriend.
In the latest episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube showbiz talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, he shared that he had messaged Cong. Richard Gomez to ask about if the pregnancy rumor was true.
The actor-politician reportedly replied, saying they should just ignore the people spreading rumors about his daughter. “Hayaan na lang natin sila. Ganyan na ngayon kairesponsable ang social media. They make stories from nothing,” Cong. Richard Gomez reportedly replied.
As of this writing, Juliana Gomez and Ricci Rivero have yet to react to the pregnancy rumor, despite the fact that they haven’t publicly confirmed the status of their relationship yet.
