Paulo Avelino has this post amid Typhoon Ulysses
Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino shared his request to the pet owners as the Philippines is now suffering from Typhoon Ulysses.
The National Capital Region is badly hit by the strong typhoon that carried strong wind and rain, as well. Several photos circulated on social media showing the devastating effect of the latest typhoon.
Many areas are already flooded and at some points, residents are seen on the top of their roofs as their last resort of surviving from the flood. Rescue operations are also being done in areas that are mostly flooded.
There are also photos circulating online in which residents are trying to rescue their pets, carrying them while walking in a flooded area. In line with this, Paulo Avelino called out to pet owners.
He shared this recent post on his Twitter account. “Yung mga alaga niyong hayop kung iiwan niyo lang din pakawalan niyo nalang para makagawa rin sila ng paraang mabuhay. Hope everyone’s safe,” the actor wrote.
Several netizens also agreed with what Paulo said in his tweet, just like Twitter user @_secretfangirl who said, “That’s sad… I’m like… I rather leave my belongings than leave my beloved pets behind. Keep safe everyone… specially you Pau and your family!”
Another netizen said that pets also have the right to live while other netizens wished Paulo Avelino is also safe amid typhoon Ulysses.
Meanwhile, due to the strong typhoon, Meralco expressed in a previous report that over 3 million of its customers will experience brownout. As of press time, it is still not sure when the power supply will be back to normal.
