Volunteer Firefighter Earns Praises Online After Saves Young Kid But Felt Guilt For Failing To Save Its Older Brother

A volunteer firefighter saved a young kid from scorching fire but blames himself for failing to save the kid’s sibling.

On Monday evening (November 9, 2020), a fire broke out at a residential compound in Barangay Daniel Fajardo, Las Piñas, which burned several houses and establishment in the area. The fire incident also took the lives of some residents.

A Facebook user named Alenie Laureta Gallardo has shared the inspiring photos of a fire volunteer who saved her nephew from a scorching fire that burned their home. The photos earned praises from the online community.

Gallardo lauded the fire volunteer for his courage and act of heroism he has shown saving young kid from the fire incident. However, the brave guy felt guilt for failing to save the sibling of the young kid he saved.

The brave man from Barangay Manuyo Uno courageously responded to the fire incident despite having no safety gears for he is just a volunteer. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
