Previously, the actress was invited to attend a webinar where she expressed her stand for women and children. The general told Liza that if she will continue support the Gabriela, she will likely to have the same fate as activist Josephine “Jo” Lapira.

Lapira is a UP Manila student who passed away in a clash between government troops versus suspected members of New People’s Army in Nasugbu, Batangas, way back November 2017. During the webinar, Liza encouraged influencers to voice out issues involving women and children. And with the controversy that has sparked, fellow celebrities of the actress reacted.
