Zaijian Jaranilla Talks Gay Role in “Boyette”
ZAIJIAN JARANILLA – Kapamilya actor Zaijian Jaranilla talked about taking on a gay role in the new movie “Boyette.”
Actor Zaijian Jaranilla started his career as a commercial model for McDonald’s, Lactum, and Tide products. He was discovered by a talent manager in 2006.
He auditioned at the Kapamilya network and was cast in shows such as “Komiks Presents: Tiny Tony” and “Goin Bulilit.” His breakthrough role was in the religious-themed series “May Bukas Pa.”
During an episode in “Magandang Buhay,” Zaijian Jaranilla admitted that he already has a girlfriend. He said he and his non-showbiz girlfriend have been together for 1 year and 1 month already.
“Nakakatulong po siya sa akin, Mas inspired ako araw-araw. Pag gumising ako, alam ko na may nagmamahal sakin, may naghihintay sakin,” he said.

Zaijian Zaranilla is also set to star in an upcoming Star Cinema movie “Boyette” alongside Jairus Aquino, Iñigo Pascual, Maris Racal, and Dominic Ochoa. He talked about playing a gay character in his very own movie.
“Ngayon po, binigyan ako ng sarili kong movie. Sa una hindi madali kasi lalaki po ako, tapos gaganap akong bading. So, medyo ang lalim po nang pinaghugutan ko. Pero tinutulungan ako ng mga direktor ko. At ‘yung set po namin halos puro gays po. So, sinasabi nila na, ‘Uy medyo lalaki ka sa ganitong galaw, gawin mo ito.’ Parang binibigyan nila ako ng tips…”
“Mas gusto ko po yung parang nacha-challenge po ako,” he added.
His movie will be releaed on iWantTFC, KTX.ph, Cignal and SkyCable soon.
