Lyca Gairanod Celebrates 1 Million Subscribers in Youtube W/ Grandmother

LYCA GAIRANOD – The grand winner of “The Voice Kids Season 1,” Lyca Gairanod celebrates 1 million subscribers on YouTube with grandmother.

Filipina singer and actress Lyca Gairanod rose to fame after winning the first season of Kapamilya network’s reality singing competition “The Voice Kids Philippines.” Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo served as her coach.

In 2014, the ‘Little Superstar’ and her family moved to their new house in Cavite. She also won one million cash and a recording contract. She was born to a poor family in Tanza, Cavite. Lyca used to scavenge used bottled and old newspapers to help her family.

Lyca Gairanod is among the celebrities who ventured into vlogging. She documented her visit to their former home in Tanza, Cavite.

The 15-year-old celebrity broke down in tears when her grandmother thanked her for giving their family a better life. Her grandma said, “Si Lyca noon, mahirap. Ako nagpalaki dito. Ngayon, itong apo ko ang nagpaunlad sa amin dito. Sabi ko lang sa inyo, itong bahay na ibinigay niya sa akin, dito ako mamamatay. DIto ako. Hindi ako aalis dito maski sino pa ang magpapaalis.”

Lyca Gairanod’s Youtube Channel has reached 1 million subscribers. She shared her success with her friends, sister, and grandmother.

“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa akin, sa mga ka-charan ko diyan. Lalong-lalo na sa mga sumusubaybay ng vlogs ko. Kay Lord, maraming-maraming salamat. At sa aking pamilya pati na rin sa mga kaibigan ko, maraming-maraming salamat po…”

“Dahil po sa inyong lahat, nakamit ko po ang one million subscribers sa aking YouTube channel. Patuloy niyo po akong suportahan at hinding-hindi ko po kayo bibiguin. Promise ko po ‘yan sa inyo mga ka-charan. At gagawin ko po ang lahat ng makakaya ko para mapasaya ko po kayong lahat,” she added.
