The Rico-Claudine loveteam is undeniably one of the 90’s on-screen tandems that many people won’t forget. They worked together in several hit projects including the movie Got 2 Believe.
Claudine Barretto was not just the loveteam partner of the late matinee idol. They had a romantic relationship and she has always been vocal about how sweet and gentle the actor was as a boyfriend.
However, Rico and Claudine’s relationship led to breakup. It was followed by an even more painful incident – the death of the actor in 2002 which really broke the heart of the actress.

Rico had a cardiac arrest during his vacation in Palawan with some celebrity friends. The death of the actor left countless hearts broken. His burial gathered the crowd in tears and sadness for his untimely passing.
The actor was 27 years old when he passed away. It’s almost 18 years now since he died but his memory and the love of his fans and supporters live.
Recently, a restored photo of Rico Yan crossed the surface and elicited reactions from the netizens. The said photo which went viral was restored by a certain Dexter Mendoza who posted it in his page dedicated for Rico and Claudine.
