Desperate Commuters Caught on Camera Hanging at Jeepney Just to Reach Home

The video footage of several desperate commuters caught hanging at the back of a public jeep just to reach home goes viral online.

Jeepney is one of the most popular transportation vehicles in the Philippines. A lot of Filipino people prefer to take a public jeepney to reach their destination due to cheaper transportation fees.

However, many jeepneys in various areas in the country are still prohibited to operate amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared the video footage of some jeepney passengers hanging at the entrance of a public jeepney. The video circulates online after it was posted on social media.

In the video, it can be seen that the male commuters are already desperate to go home so they have decided to hang on jeepney filled with passengers just to reach their respective houses. Hanging in jeepneys is already prohibited since it could put the passenger’s life at stake.
