Is the Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto leaving Star Magic?
JULIA BARRETTO – Amid the pregnancy issues and controversies, actress Julia Barretto has allegedy left Star Magic and transferred to Viva.
Vice Ganda, Sarah Geronimo, Anne Curtis, Marco Gumabao, Xian Lim, Matteo Guidicelli, Bela Padilla, Kim Molina, and many others are under the management of Viva Artist Agency (VAA). And now, there are rumors circulating online that another famous artist from Star Magic will also transfer to them and that is Julia Barretto. How true is this?
The Instagram account of Viva Entertainment has been teasing their followers about their new “stronger, fiercer, and brighter” star who will finally join their family. In another post, it has been stated that are to officially reveal and introduce her this coming Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020.
According to PEP, there are rumors that she backed out doing Cara Y Cruz for ABS-CBN which she is supposed to do with Tony Labrusca. Allegedly, Barbie Imperial will replace her playing the role. There are also speculations that she will transfer to TV5.
In a previous report, since the ABS-CBN network has already shut down, Star Magic talents were given permission to work to other networks. Also, Laurenti Dyogi is now the Head of Star Magic effective January 1, 2021.
As for the employees, the network’s president and CEO, Carlo Katigbak thanked them for the service that they have given the company and the people as they leave and also grateful to those who stayed “enduring the sacrifice in order to continue serving the public”.
