1,500 Gadgets Given Away by Senator Bong Revilla Amid Schools Delivering Online Classes
SENATOR BONG REVILLA – The actor-turned-politician gave away 1,500 gadgets which are truly beneficial for online classes.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected a lot of routines in the Philippines. One of them is the way education is delivered in schools.
Due to the pandemic, elementary and secondary schools were not able to start their school year this June – the usual start of classes in schools. It was initially moved by the Department of Education (DepEd) to August 24.
However, several days before the target class opening in August, changes took place and the start of the school year was further moved to October. Also, blended learning will be implemented in the delivery of education.

Undeniably, a lot of students have no access to online learning as they have no laptops, cellphones, tablets, or any gadget they can use for online access. Thus, fortunate individuals like Sen. Bong Revilla giving away gadgets is truly a big help.
Sen. Bong Revilla hosted the “Kap’s Amazing 1,500 Gadget Giveaway” which is aired live on Facebook. His wife, Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado, is helping him in his pursuit to give away tablets and cellphones.
