Dentist Jailed After Extracting Patient’s Tooth While Balancing on Hoverboard
A certain dentist has been sentenced to 12 years of jail imprisonment after extracting a patient’s tooth while balancing on a hoverboard.
The 35-year-old dentist identified as Seth Lookhart has been arrested while taking a patient’s tooth out while he was standing on a hoverboard before riding away. His action is considered a reckless act.
Lookhart is facing charges of illegal dentistry, fraud, and reckless endangerment because of his irresponsible action. The dental worker even sent the video footage of his irresponsible act to his friends.
Anchorage Superior Court Judge Michael Wolverton revealed that the dentist act using a hoverboard is not the most serious aspect of the incident, according to laska State Department of Law.
“Lookhart almost killed many patients by performing anesthesia thousands of times without training or consent, on patients outside his scope of training and expertise, while stealing money from Medicaid and embezzling from his bosses,” the Alaska state said.
The male dentist also released a statement expressing his regret for doing such a thing. “Looking back, I can’t say exactly when I began to go off course. I could have and should have maintained better discipline and focus,” Lookhart said.
