F4 Thailand: GMMTV Releases Teaser Of Thai Version of 'Meteor Garden'

F4 THAILAND – GMMTV recently released the video teaser for Thailand’s very own F4.

Meteor Garden is based on a manga series ‘Boys Over Flowers,’ written and illustrated by Yoko Kamio. It tells the story of a female student named Tsukushi who challenges a group of boys known as F4.

The leader of the group, Tsukasa Domyouji, eventually falls in love with Tsukushi. The hit series has been adapted in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and China.

The Taiwanese version of the hit drama first ran in Taiwan in 2001. The show reaped phenomenal success across Asia. Casts Jerry Yan, Vaness Wu, Ken Chu, Vic Chou, and Barbie Hsu became household names in the Philippines.

The South Korean version of the drama starred by Lee Min-Ho, Kim Bum, Kim Joon, Kim Hyun-Joong, and Gu Hye-sun was released in 2009.

The tv production in Thailand, GMMTV, announced in 2019 that they are going to remake Meteor Garden. On Wednesday, September 16, they posted the teaser of the Thai F4 members.

The ‘2gether: The Series” actors Win Metawin and Bright Vachirawit will top bill the Thai version of the iconic Asian drama. According to GMMTV, Win will play the role of Kavin while Bright will play the role of Thyme.

Win Metawin and Bright Vachirawit will be joined by Dew Jirawat Sutivanisak, Nani Hirunkit Changkham. The newbie actress Tu Tontawan will make her debut through the Thai series. She will play Gorya, the Thai counterpart of Shan Cai.
