September is not the lucky month of Gladys Guevarra?
Comedienne-singer Gladys Guevarra experienced a heartbreaking incident at the start of September and it can be said that this month always makes her “sawi”.
In her Facebook Live last September 2, Gladys revealed that her boyfriend Leon Sumagui left her and took the money from her food business customers. She let out all her anger and dismay against the man who she trusted.
Based on the article from the Philippine Entertainment Portal, this is not the first heartbreak that the comedienne had in the month of September. Back in 2013, she also experienced emotional turmoil when she separated with her live-in partner Jojo Diamse.
They lived together for five years but their relationship eventually came to its end. Jojo filed attempted murder, grave oral defamation, grave coercion, violation of anti-child abuse law or R.A. 7610 complaints against Gladys.
Jojo formally filed the complaints against his ex-girlfriend on September 5, 2013. This came after the alleged incident that happened on August 23, 2013, when Gladys threatened to run over her car on him if they will not get back together.
The alleged incident happened five months after they got separated. Jojo claimed that Gladys can’t accept that he is already in a relationship with another woman at that time.
On September 6, 2013, Gladys Guevarra said in an interview with PEP that after the said encounter, she went to Camp Karingal police headquarters in Quezon City to file a case against her ex-boyfriend.
She accused Jojo of physically abusing her. In the said interview, she said to her ex-boyfriend, “Nag-file ka na rin pala, even sa Hall of Justice pinu-post mo pa. Nag-file ka na. E, di, be quiet. And besides, lalaki ka, di ba?”
