This is the response of Bugoy Cariño to his and EJ Laure’s bashers
Young actor Bugoy Cariño fired back to bashers of his relationship with volleyball player EJ Laure after they confirmed that they are already parents.
The young couple garnered various reactions online after they shared photos and videos of their baby Scarlet. This is because they denied the pregnancy rumors more than years ago.
Some netizens bashed EJ for having a romantic relationship with a minor and she also accused of “grooming” Bugoy. On the other hand, there were those who defended the young couple and supported their relationship.
Apparently, EJ Laure and Bugoy Cariño just waited the right time to reveal their baby to the public. They had their revelation as the young actor celebrated his 18th birthday.

Amid the bashings that happened on Fridays as the name of Bugoy and EJ trended on social media, the couple chose not to speak. However, later that day, Bugoy shared a Tiktok video of his daughter on her Instagram story.
The video was titled “Scarlet TikTok Compilation”. The young actor also wrote this caption: “O mga bashers dyan panoorin nyo nalang to para sumaya naman ang buhay nyo.” Here’s his post.
It will be recalled that in 2018, EJ Laure denied in an interview the rumors that she got impregnated by Bugoy Cariño. At that time, reportedly, the former Goin’ Bulilit cast member was just 15 years old while the volleyball player of the University of Santo Tomas was 19. Bugoy also laughed off the issue but it turned out that the said rumors were true.
