5 More Countries Lift Travel Restrictions on Filipinos Amid COVID-19 Pandemic
TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS ON FILIPINOS – Here is a list of the countries and territories that lifted the travel restrictions on Pinoys amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The world now is currently fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic. This disease has claimed the lives of more than 800,000 people already. Over 200 countries and territories got cases of this coronavirus disease.
It was last December 2019 when China recorded its first case of COVID-19. After several days, other countries confirmed cases of the disease. Many nations locked their borders in the effort to contain its spread.
The Philippines is one of the nations with cases of COVID-19. According to the Department of Health (DOH), they have already recorded 189,601 cases of coronavirus with 2,998 deaths and 131,367 recoveries.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, several countries imposed travel restrictions in the pursuit to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease. Among those restricted in several countries and territories are Filipino travelers.
Meanwhile, several countries and territories have already lifted their travel restrictions on Filipinos. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, despite it, travelers should abide by the protocols which may include having a travel insurance, a negative COVID-19 test result, and undergoing a quarantine.
According to the report, five (5) more countries recently lifted their travel restrictions on Filipinos. Here is a list of the nations and territories where Pinoy travelers can go to but they are subject to changes:
