Gabbi Garcia renewed her contract with GMA
Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia recalled the rejections she experienced in the entertainment industry.
Gabbi is one of the most in-demand stars of Sparkle GMA Artist Center nowadays. Aside from acting, she has been doing hosting stints as well, not just in GMA but in other events, such as pageants.
After many years in the industry, Gabbi, who is tagged the Kapuso It Girl, decided to remain under GMA’s management. She recently renewed her contract with her home network.

In an interview during the contract signing event, based on the article in GMA News Online, Gabbi Garcia shared that she had her fair share of rejections when she was just starting in showbiz.
There was a project she auditioned for but it did not had a positive outcome for her. “I did the final callbacks. I lined up. Tapos nakita ko na lang, napapalabas na siya tapos wala ako,” the actress shared.
However, Gabbi did not lose hope when faced with rejections. These served as her motivation to go forward and pursue what she wanted to do. Thankfully, her parents were there to remind her that it was okay.
“I’m grateful kasi hindi siya ever naging malalim na hugot sa ‘kin because my parents would always tell me, ‘It’s okay. It just means it’s not yet your time,’” the Kapuso It Girl said.

The actress shared that she has been receiving support from her parents. Her dad would drive her to auditions while her mom Tes would be there with her when she would line up.
Gabbi Garcia said that the rejections she experienced were not a traumatic thing for her because she thought that her time would come and that everything was planned and destined for her.
The actress shared that GMA was one of those who accepted, embraced her, and envisioned that there was something in her that deserved a spot in the entertainment industry.
