Before fame, Pia Wurtzbach has this humble life
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach shared the life struggles she went through before she became a famous celebrity.
Pia is one of those celebrities who had a humble beginning. She went through tough times which not all celebrities and famous personalities had. Based on the article from PUSH, during a fundraiser of Kabataan sa Kartilya ng Katipunan (KKK), the beauty queen revealed the obstacles she surpassed.
As a student, she had to bring food to school because her mother don’t have money to give her as “baon”. “Minsan, nagdadala lang ako ng baon [kasi] hindi ako mabigyan ng pera ng Mama ko. Tapos binabaha din ‘yung bahay namin, minsan hanggang dibdib, ganyan,” Pia Wurtzbach added.
They had to transfer from a house to another because they can’t afford the rent. Her family had to choose a much cheaper house. “So pamura nang pamura ‘yung mga nililipatan namin tapos pataas nang pataas din ‘yung tubig [ng baha],” she revealed.

With these struggles, the beauty queen said that she started to realize to take her life seriously. She persevered more when the time came that she had to pay for her tuition fee.
Pia Wurtzbach wants to become an inspiration to others by her story of perseverance. She said that the struggles in life should not be hated because it is part of the process and growth.
“At kung pagbubutihan mo, mag-aaral ka nang mabuti at magiging masipag ka at kung ‘di ka bibitaw sa mga pangarap mo, mararating mo rin ‘yung mga gusto mong marating,” the Miss Universe 2015 said.
