Netflix is set to release The Devil All The Time
The Devil All The Time, a psychological thriller film based on the novel with the same name by Donal Ray Pollock is set to be released on Netflix soon.
This movie which started filming on February last year features Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson along with an ensemble cast including Bill Skarsgård, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Haley Bennett, Eliza Scanlen, Mia Wasikowska.
Based on the article from Vulture, movie fans are quite ecstatic after watching the trailer of the upcoming movie because of how the actors played with the accent. The movie is set into a mid-century Ohio time.
Many easily noticed the flawless throw of lines from Holland and Pattinson with the distinct accent as if they are really born that way.
The trailer gives a sneak peek of how the conflict controlled the main characters. Pattinson’s character (Rev. Preston Teagardin) appeared to be an evil preacher and Holland’s character Arvin seemingly is ready to do what it takes to make things right.
However, after Arvin received a gun from his father as a birthday gift a good religious boy had a turnabout.
Talking to Vanity Fair, writer-director Antonio Campos said that the “Delusions” speech of Pattinson is one of his favorite scenes in The Devil All The Time. In approaching Pattinson’s acting, the director said that he trusted how the actor will do it and just let go of some of his control as the one directing the movie.
When it comes to Holland, Capos said that that the actor’s “process is so methodical and thoughtful and sensitive.” He added that the actor who played Peter Parker in Spider-man is really kind.
The Devil All The Time is set to be released on Netflix on September 16. Here is the trailer.
