Philippine Holidays 2021: List of Regular & Special Non-Working Days Released

Malacañang Releases Philippine Holidays 2021 (Regular & Special Non-Working Holidays)

PHILIPPINE HOLIDAYS 2021 – Malacañang released the list of regular and special non-working holidays for year 2021.

Every year, there are several days considered as “holidays”. They are set for the commemoration of a certain event or person or the observance of a religious festivity or belief.

There are different classifications of the holiday. When it is a regular holiday, government agencies and other companies in the private sector suspend work but on a paid basis. In those companies with continued work operations, double pay is usually implemented.

In cases of a special non-working holiday, usually, the government would release a specific percentage that the company must pay to employees who will be reporting to work on that day.

During a holiday, there are people who really participate in the event being celebrated or in the commemoration of history. There are also some who check on the holidays months before so they can schedule their vacation with family and friends.
