MMDA Hunts Driver & Operator of Over Speeding Bus Along EDSA
MMDA General Manager Jojo Garcia is now looking for the driver and operator of over speeding bus caught along EDSA.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority is exerting effort to locate the operator of the bus caught over speeding along EDSA last week. The agency also wants to identify the driver of the bus.
Garcia also said that they have already asked the help of Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board to issue a show-cause order to the operator of the over-speeding bus. They would give corresponding sanctions and penalties towards the driver.

The incident was captured on the dashcam of another motorist passing along EDSA. The video shows the bus is over speeding at the left innermost lane of EDSA blowing the concrete barriers away.
“Kaya nangyayari ang ganyan dahil sa overspeeding. Mga lanes natin ‘di ganun kaluluwag so ‘di ka talaga puwedeng tumakbo ng lagpas 60 kph. Kaya naglagay tayo ng speed limit na 50 kph at maglalagay na rin ng speed detector para maparusahan ang ganayn talagang mabibilis ang takbo,” Garcia said.
MMDA also said that they would change the barriers with bollards within two weeks.
