Last July 10, the House Franchise Committee junked the bid of the Kapamilya network for a fresh 25-year franchise. Several celebrities were vocal to their support to the network including Vice.

However, recently, there are allegations that Vice Ganda negotiated with TV5 amid the franchise issues of the ABS-CBN network. Allegedly, he was rejected because of his very high talent fee.
