Governor Jonvic Remulla encourages leaders to hear the people.
JONVIC REMULLA – Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla says he’s “man enough not to be overly sensitive” over trash talking on social media.
Something which was posted last June 7, Jonvic Remulla, governor of Cavite, reposted a Facebook post about trash talking in social media since it is currently a hot topic. He asked if this could be enough ground to “threaten and subject netizens to an inquest”.

He believed that we are a better nation because people can freely and responsibly express themselves. And as for him, he is according man enough not to be “overly sensitive nor be easily offended” about it.
As a politician, he would put his focus on bigger problems such as the pandemic, support education, his jobless people, and transportation. He would rather do something to make his people unite to find a effective solutions to problems.
The governor urged his fellow leaders to hear what the people are saying. He said, “Sa panahong ito, mas nararapat na tayong mga namumuno ay makinig at unawain ang hinaing ng mga tao.”
In a previous article, a mere college student who shared a post criticizing Senator Bong Go has received a subpoena from the National Bureau of InvestigationĀ (NBI). Several individuals has accordingly received the slame thing and the senator just told them to respond and trust that there will be certain processes that will protect them.
In a message to people who is critical to him, he insisted that they can freely speak over matters but they have make sure they are not spreading fake news. He even asked NBI to investigate social media posts that can possibly violate a certain law.
