FEMALE FORMER INMATE – A 21-year-old woman who was just released from jail was shot by a still unidentified person in Manila.

In the Philippines, a lot of people allegedly involved in drugs were arrested and detained under the Duterte administration. One of the staunch campaigns of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is to end the presence of the illegal substance in the country.

Undeniably, the extent of drugs in PH is really unexpected. Not only ordinary citizens but famous personalities who engaged to it were nabbed by the authorities in several operations.

Some of the accused were proven innocent from the allegations, others were convicted, there are those who were able to obtain temporary freedom through bail, while there are also those who obtained liberty.

However, in Manila, a female former inmate has just been released from jail when she met an unfortunate fate. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the 21-year-old woman was shot in Port Area Manila.

Manila Police District’s Capt. Henry Navarro said that the victim went to a computer shop along Rail Road Street in Barangay 650. According to the report, after spending some time at the computer shop, she walked home.

However, the still unidentified suspect followed the female former inmate. She was shot in Port Area, Manila and the suspect managed to get away from the area.

The victim was declared dead-on-the-spot. It was found out that the woman was linked to a drug case before and she was also accused of theft. Currently, the investigation is still on going and more updates may be posted soon.
