Why Vice Ganda Walked Off Showtime Stage During Opening of Show

VICE GANDA – The Kapamilya actor-comedian revealed the reason why he walked off the stage of It’s Showtime during the opening of the show.

Undeniably, now is a very hard time for the ABS-CBN network and all the people related to it from the executives down to the celebrities and staff. It was yesterday when the House Franchise Committee denied the network of a new franchise.

Many really waited for the decision of the House Committee. Twelve (12) hearings were held prior to the voting that led to a 70-11 result that is not in favor of the Kapamilya network.

The broadcast operation of the network is on off-air for more than two (2) months now. Previously, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) released a Cease and Desist Order against it over its franchise.

Certain programs of the ABS-CBN network can still be viewed via the social media platforms. However, making the people happy requires a lot of effort from the celebrities who are deeply hurt now by what happened yesterday.

In the recent episode of It’s Showtime, actor-comedian Vice Ganda walked off the stage during the opening of the show. He was unable to sing his part which is usually a very lively opening.

On Twitter, Vice Ganda admitted that he walked off the Showtime stage to cry. According to the actor-comedian, he could not fake it but he is okay now after crying a lot.

Vice is one of those who are vocal about his stand and prayers for the ABS-CBN network. Following the denial of the franchise bid of the network, eleven (11) thousand people now are at risk of losing their job.
