PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this July 3, 2020.

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect Visayas and Mindanao on this day.

According to GMA News, the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Mindanao, Western and Central Visayas, and MIMAROPA.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during moderate to occasionally heavy rain showers.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Again, flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving southeastward.

The rest of the country will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast to south direction.

The entire archipelago will face slight to moderate coastal waters.
