PAGASA – Easterlies To Affect East Parts Of Visayas, Mindanao This July 2, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this July 2, 2020.

The latest weather update from the state bureau says that the easterlies or warm winds from the east will be affecting the eastern portions of Visayas and Mindanao on this day.

According to GMA News, the easterlies, as well as localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast to southwest direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The sun has risen at 5:31 AM and is expected to set at 6:29 PM.
