J&T Express PH Issues Public Apology Again

J&T Express Philippines issued a public apology again after President Duterte threatened to shut down the firm after mishandling parcels.

Previously, the courier company has been one of the most controversial topics online after the video footage of some employees mishandling parcels spread like a wildfire online. The company earns criticism from the online community.

A lot of netizens have also expressed their sentiments and shared their painful experiences after receiving damaged items delivered by the courier firm.  Some of them want the company to shut down.

However, the firm apologized to the public for the irresponsible actions of their employees and explained that it was an isolated case. They also assured the public that the workers involved in the video would be penalized.

President Duterte also ordered PNP-CIDG, NBI, and BIR to investigate the firm over the issued. He also warned to shut down the company if there will be violations found during the investigation.

Recently, the Facebook page of Rex Remition reported that J&T Express Philippines issued a public apology again after the threat of President Duterte against the courier company. The company promised to cooperate with the government during the investigation.

Here is the statement of some company executives:

“We appreciate the concern expressed by the President towards our customers’ welfare as well as the well-being of our many partners and employees.

Furthermore, we will cooperate with the government in any investigation that it will conduct. We are committed to improving our services for the benefit of the public.”

“In the event that the parcel is damaged, they can be identified in our facility, be traced and accounted for either in our branches, warehouses and down to the very name of the rider who delivers these parcels to their recipient.

Any parcel that is lost, no matter how improbable that might be regarding the system that we are using, they (customers) can be compensated for justly and fairly through our claim system.”
